Analog and digital

i have a logitech rumble pad 2 and i configured it using controller-configurator.com however, i have a problem:

i assume the controls in-game should be set to digital instead of analog(to take advantage of the left stick) but when i use digital, the stick only moves up, down, left, and right....making it impossible to play correctly...

right now im using analog on the left stick, which only adds the advantage of diagonal movements (up+right, down+right, up+left, down+left), which essentialy only gives me three different spots to shoot at (dead center, left, or right)....making it impossible to score using NKv9....

any ideas? or is it even possible to have a fully digital left (movement) stick?

Analog v Digital

the 2 stick controllers on your gamepad are analogue controllers (meaning they have 360 degrees of rotational direction) which should provide you with much greater control of the players in the game. A Digital controller (eg D pad) would only give you a possible 8 directions to move in.

Hope this helps

i thought digital was more precise?

when i use analog on the sticks i only get 8 directions

when i use digital on the sticks, i get only 4

should i not be able to go in ANY direction using the sticks instead of north, northeast, east, southeast, south. etc...
