I came across this game by accident and I am truly impressed. You basically can be start your career as a player, player-manager, or manager.
What's great about it is the match engine. Very retro and reminiscent of SWOS. Player's react well. The tactics are easily shown and the results are realistic according to the team's reputation. Weather effects and much more.
Also, each computer controlled team develops their tactics according to their strengths and weaknesses, which changes as the season develops.
At first the menu may be confusing to some, but once you get familiar with everything, it's a very rewarding game.
