I haven't been able to figure out as to how to add texture of bigger size in the overly file any help will be appreciated

Try to import the bigger texture with FIFA File Explorer 2014 and then when it asks you to resize click no.

I do so but first of all it doesn't ask me to resize n further when I import texture as it is the overlay file becomes corrupt nd is rendered unusable

Have you tried importing a texture of the same aspect ratio? If the original size is for example 32x32 you could try to import a 1024x1024 texture.

Trying pretty hard to make some popups but failing again and again... A y help will be appreciated I will try what u have suggested ut I doubt it will work

Not really.... I think it's not possible to do that on 900xx files

yes mostly it would if u are just changing textures but to change some positions etc. hexing will be needed..........
