I don't think you guys understand the importance of competition, if FIFA wasn't selling that much at all, PES wouldn't be as good because Konami wouldn't have anything to go up against...therefore, why hate FIFA so much? Konami need the competition!

This is just the other way around! It is FIFA-fans contributing from FIFA's big threat Konami. Konami is on the PC now and EA feels forced to drasticly improve their game because of concurrence of Konami.

II'm not saying all fans are like this...just that some must be jealous of what FIFA has to offer

If you guys hate FIFA so much, why don't you make a constructive thread about why PES is better, then if someone can pass that to EA (after editing out the childish feedback), maybe EA will be glad that the PES fans, the ones that "know their football", have gave their opinion on FIFA 2004 (and not FIFA 99, the last one that some of you played).

I am sure people from EA know exactly how both FIFA and PES fans think about both games. I think they read these forums very closely! Do you think it is coincidence that FIFA comes with their best game in the year that Konami goes PC??

one thing most of the knomai action game is good, from Netindo to PS2. So if there is fifa or not, PES by konami is still very good. Most importantly developers of winning eleven do listen to their fans !

just proves gameplay is not a fifa fans top priority. From the sounds of it Fifa could be a spreadsheet with with licenced players and 22 dots knocking another dot around the screen and Fifa fanboys will still think the whole package is better than PES!!!

one of my friends likes fifa, and what he does is he changes all of his players ratings to 100.

I have no idea how you can have any fun doing this and what would be the point.

I think many here are simply stubborn and will not except good points of a football game and instead take pride in picking out the bad points, why don't I go to the FIFA forum and make a big thread laughing at the licensing in PES?

It's just childish, like you guys don't have anything better to do. I know the problems with FIFA 2004, I know PES3 plays better and when the time comes I'll make sure EA know about the problems. But I'm not going to play PES3, find its problems (or just state an opinion as a fact, which is thick!), then go to the FIFA forum and laugh about them...

Oh and I really do laugh when some PES fans say they hate FIFA, and go on about the gameplay, which is exactly like FIFA 98 or something...crackers! But obviously EA did something wrong to stop you from playing, so instead of saying: "FIFA bad, bad, bad, naughty, slap hand". Maybe you should say something useful?
