and its works for sure.
the stats are still the same :(
but i there seems to be a lot more tidy and that patched by Rhapsody on the main screen gone.
maybe some who knows the Rhapsody patch inside out.
could compare the two.

General Information

Well, I started the translation patch and Rh4ps0dY apparently finished their 100%
English patch or so they'd like you to think! I did my own translation after the work in
progress and then ran out of time. I translated most of the main exe fully and moved
onto the AFS file. The translations were sent to Mookie who hasn't done anything due to
dislocating his shoulder.

Now as Rh4ps0dY have released their 100% patch, I just checked their main exe and found
around 15 parts not translated. There was a little bit I did in the main AFS file that
they didn't translate also. I've roughly made around 717 additional byte changes to
their 100% patch.

It's also become obvious that many of their end users do not have CD Writers that do EDC
/ ECC correction on the fly as many are saying after patching the game does not work.

So, I bring you a fully working ppf3.0 patch to fix it all for you.

Ok guys I installed the new patch ontop of the Rh4ps0dy patch and didn't see any new changes. It's pretty much the same thing. Anyone else notice this?

i dont wanna waste a cdr just to "delete" the rh4psody sign nah sayin?
can anybody please tell me?

I have a problem with edc/ecc correction (My cdrw is very old and ecc regen does not pick up corrupted sectors). if i merge this patch with a clean image will it boot without the use of ecc regen or cd-mage ?

Plus do i need this patch aswell as the Rh4ps0dy

There's hardly anything different in this patch except a few extra very minor translations. It finishes off the translations to the main exe and a bit more to the AFS file, but nothing major like the stats (dont ask me what else is translated, I havent a clue)

Here's a quote from Mookie, one of the blokes behind this patch:

"It was released just to give people a patch that can be undone if required and include the edc / ecc correction as well as add a few bits more of translation (700+ bytes)"

You don't need both patches, and yes you do need to run eccregen after this new patch.

HELP !!!

I've had 2 attempt on patching WE6 but end up throwing my 2 CD-R into the dusbin... Sigh

Here are my procedures... I create an Image of the WE6 disc using CDRWIN and soon after that I patch it using PPF... For the first disc, I burn the patched image file without ECCRegen... After failing my first test, I tried using ECCRegen and burn my 2nd CD and the disc failed to boot as well... Can anyone give me the exact steps of doing it?? Thanks

THESE R THE INSTRUTIONS I FOLLOWED AND IT WORKED FIRST TIME FOR ME!

Ok, here is a mini guide to make a working patched we6 cd.

First of all your playstation2 must have a mod-chip so it can play imports.

Second you must have a cdr software. I prefer cdrwin. Download the 3.8g version (not 4.0a).
Go there and download :

Ok put the we6 cd in your cdr drive and open cdrwin...
Click to 3rd icon : Extrack Disc/Tracks/Sectors

Settings:
1) Extract mode : Disc image/cuesheet
2)Imagine Filename : press the "..." button and save as "we6.bin"
3)Reading Options : Check RAW only.
Error Recovery : ignore
Jilter: auto
Subcode: auto
Data Speed: 1x
Audio Spedd : 1x
Read retry count: 1
Subcode threshold: 300

Then press the start button. This will create the image file. After it finishes (1 hour because of 1x speed),
you will have the original unpatched bin file.
Download from the download section of rh4ps0dy site the pdx-ppf3 file and unzip it.
Go to ppfgui/windows/PPF-O-MATIC3 and run PPF-O-MATIC3.exe
On "iso file" put the "we6.bin" you created and to the "Patch" put the "WE6_Rh4ps0dY_1.0_ENG_.ppf" (the english patch).
Press Apply, if it ask you that the size is not match dont worry, press yes and all will be ok. The we6.bin now is patched and ready to be on a cd!

Start again cdrwin and put an empty cd in the cdr drive.

then click on the first icon: Record disc
Press Load cuesheet and select the we6.cue. Set speed to 4x and all the other squares unticked. DO NOT CHECK RAW THIS TIME!

Press start recording, and your patched game will be ready after the burning.

Thanks... I had the patch working and I know there are intructions but it didn't mentioned anything about the settings for CDRWIN before creating an image... so the only steps I'm missing is to set
