another way of installing faces by face raptor 2.5

FR 2.5 is a gr8 tool by Ariel but i personally i had some problems installing faces with FR 2.5 . but there's another way of putting the faces in fifa 2003 (for those who still have probs with FR).

when i use to load a face , the face use to not come , the hair was not replaced etc etc .

so what i did is for e.g

1) Diego forlan face by daqingren
all the 5 files of the faces were there. so what i did is went to faces database , gave a face num 546 (thats what daqingren has used) and then put the files DIRECTLY in the fifa 2003 \ data folder . in this way the faces were exported in the game for me . then i just used to export it , and view it with DRC .

2) if there's a face for e.g Wolf 's Ronaldo face
there were 5 files hair.o , extra.o , face.o, face.fsh , hair.fsh
rename the
a)hair.o to Player____model1020308739__xxx.o(where xxx is the player's face number)

b)face.o to Player____model60__xxx.o

c)extra.o to Player____model322052001953125__xxx.o

d)face.fsh to PlayerTexObj.texobj11__texture12__xxx_0_0.fsh

e)hair.fsh to PlayerTexObj.texobj11__texture14__xxx_0.fsh

then just put the files directly into fifa 2003\ data folder .

3) for other faces which do not have a specific face like for e.g Silvestre ,
give a face id to him for e.g 600 , then change the 5 files for silvestre [as given in e.g no 2] and put 600 instead of xxx.and put the files directly in fifa 2003 \ data folder .

to view the face u have imported , write no number of face in the face number coloumn , export and view it with the fantastic DRC .


hope this helps for some people who have probs installing faces with FR . ;)

I made this steps for the Camoranesi face by Miguelito :)

1- When creating the Player in the Players Table in MS Access, set the 'FaceID' value to whatever you want. IT MUST BE OVER 600 as those under 600 are the original IDs used by the game.
And also remember not to set a value already used by another player with a created face.
If you already have the player in the database then just edit the 'FaceID' value to the one you want.
Remember to set his correct color of skin in the 'X_Skin' field.
And as the player is going to have a face of his own, then you dont need to set the Face_Type, Hair_Type, Facil_Hair_Type and Hair_Colour values.

2- Rename the 7 files (5 shapes and 2 textures) to the the face ID you settled for the player while creating/editing the player in Access.

3- Import the 2 Texture files (the .FSH) into the dplyrtex.big and the 5 Shape files (the .O) to the dplyrgeo.big file (in the data\player folder) using EA Graph: go to Import -> For existing TAR Archive.

4- Now go to the game and thats's it. ENJOY!
