The first of SEGA's Lets Make a Pro Soccer Club series to go outside of the regular Japanese soccer league. Produced by series producer Takayuki Kawagoe and directed by Nobuya Oohashi, Europe Championship lets you play in six countries: England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and The Netherlands. The game includes 25,000 players, with 9,000 players appearing with real names. The game includes deeper player management and more advanced game systems, along with real time matches. You can now select a command to speak with your players and view more detailed player data than ever before. Player editing provides more options now, with over 200 shirt types, 60 pant types, 32 club colors and over 60 flag types. Stadium detail has been improved, with stadium form differing based on the league that you select. SEGA has also included a versus mode in Europe Championship.

I would welcome any newcomers, who could push the standards of footy games much higher than they are today. However, it's very unlikely to happen. It would take too much time to develop anything decent compared to the big two. Club Football is a great example. It doesn't just happen like that.

This particular title seems to be for the Japanese/Asian market only so unless it's going to be super good we will probably never hear about it again (except for those from Japan ofc :) ).
