Hello

Can anyone please link me to a patch that fixes all of the team and player names in the PC version of PES 3?

Thank you.

Please, simple question

I've downloaded the patch, but it appears in XPS format. What do I do?

How do you open it?

Slow down. I didn't understand any of it. What is weopteditor?

What I'm saying is I have an XPS file which I don't know how to open or how to view. The computer says that there's no program associated with that file, so it doesn't know how to open it.

Explain it to me like I'm a 7 year old. How exactly do I open this file, and what do I do next to make it work on the game itself?

come my 7 year old child,i will tell everything.
enter the site"http://cm4topesconvertor.free.fr/"
at the bottom of the site there is a link named weopteditor.download it.
then open the editor.
on the left side there is a button named file. click it.then click open.find your file
_____.xps and open it.
when you opened it .click save as.

did you see file type there.change it to "pc option file".
and the file name should be
KONAMI-WIN32PES3OPT
when you saved ity put it in your save pes3 save folder
the default is" C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 3\save"

Done.

Done.

"did you see file type there.change it to "pc option file". "

Done.

Here's the thing. It does give me the option of saving as PC option file, but it doesn't have a default name to save it under. Does it matter? can I call it anything I want?

Also, inside the "save" directory, there's another directory called "KONAMI-WIN32PES3OPT".

Do I save the file in there, or just in the "save" directory?

And once I save the file in the right way - that's it? All the changes will appear in the game?

1)it is true that it doesn't give you the name.
you must save like this....
file name: KONAMI-WIN32PES3OPT
file type: pc option file

2)i forgot to say, sorry!,you must save in to
KONAMI-WIN32PES3OPT folder .
exactly this

C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 3\save\KONAMI-WIN32PES3OPT\

so you must save into KONAMI-WIN32PES3OPT directory

so when you do this you can play it...:)

Question:

If I save that file after having already installed a different patch, does that mean the update won't work?

Do I have to open that file over a just-installed game, with no changes in it?

If the answer is no, then I don't know what to do.

The file is in the directory, just like you said, but there are no changes over the last patch I've installed.

you can play with the latest patch you installed.if you install 2 patch, the first one you installed will not work.

when you saved the file named KONAMI-WIN32PES3OPT
didnt it ask you if you want to change the file with the old one.

you dont need to open the file with just-installed game.

i'm sending your email a few photos look them maybe they will give you a clue

It worked!

Well, kinda...

All the real teams are now in the game and the players seem OK, but what I see in the game isn't consistent with the editor.

e.g - When I go to the "edit player" inside the game, Makalele is still a Real Madrid player and C. Ronaldo is still at sporting.

So I go to the editor to trasfer them to Chelsea and Man Utd, and guess what?

They're already there!

The editor has all the players where they should be, but in the game many of them are still in previous teams.

How do I fix this?
