any way to play LAN with two PC connected using one CD installed on both PC ?

I hv one FIFA2004 Game CD and installed on both PC that are connected together using a Linksys Broadband Router, so they get Private IP addresses in the 192.168.x.x range... but I can't play using the DirectIP feature... nothing happens when I try to connect the game... it stays at "establishing Connection.." and then disconnects after some time...
izzit I can't use one CD install on two PCs or any tips on the steps to connect ? thanx

Try searching for a no cd crack.... i did that with fifa 2003... worked fine.

I did that so that the other PC can run the game without the CD... but when I trying one PC to host and the other to connect to it in DirecIP, it stays at "establishing connectino" and eventually disconnects...

oh ok ... i dunno man ... soz i carnt help u at all dont know why.... maybe try and burn ur original and then play with each disc.... i havent got fifa 2004 on pc yet so i dont really know much.

the FIFA2004, I think is copy-protected as I'm not able to duplicate another one though ...

i conected 2 together on lan, about 10 seconds after kick off i got the lost connection message

but i am using feel the game patch on my pc, my sons pc doesent have that patch.

You can´t copy from cd to cd. You must copy the original cd first to your harddisk and then burn it to a cd. And then you need a No-cd crack. Now you have 2 cd´s. You should consider the copy as a back-up. Or else it would be count like an illegal activity.
