Anybody interested in my boots?

Inside the file zdata_o4.big are the boot files. I extracted them using EA Graph (uncompressed!!!) and used fsh tool to extract the images. *Note - There are six images with an alpha image each... they are sized 64x64, 32x32,16x16 etc... so I resized a boot pic to the relevant sizes and saved them in the folder created by fsh tool for the relevant *fsh files. the files are named 0000-0.bmp,0000-1.bmp etc... . Then double-clicking the index files in the folders created by fsh tool will re-compile the fsh files, so simply chuck 'em into the data folder, or if you like, add them to the zdata_04.big fiile using eagraph (which is why it is important to not uncompress them when extracting them in the first place!) and you're good to go!

No, pal... Image #1 is 64x64, Image #2 is 32x32, Image #3 is 16x16 etc... the final image is 2x2! then replace your new images (as 24-bit bitmaps) and re-compile your fsh files...

What's that? 500 Glorious posts? Woohoo!:hump:

Step 1. Open the *.fsh files with fsh tool.
Step 2. Using your fav. graphic editor, resize a boot pic to 64x64 etc, until you have six files ranging in sizes 64x64 to 2x2.
Step 3. Save these according to size, as 24-bit bitmaps, replacing those in the folders created by fsh tool. (0000-0, 0000-1 etc.)
Step 4. Recompile the fsh files.
Step 5. Add them to your zdata_04.big using EA graph.
Step 6. Enjoy your new boots.
**Note**
Using uncompressed fsh files will allow you to use eagraph to add them to the *.big file without a problem, and remember they are to be bitmaps!

Oh... thanks for the congrats on my 'milestone'... it's not 2,173, but it's not bad...

How do I do this?

I have been in EA graph and tried various methods with the import wizard, but keep getting error messages or not being able to view the bitmaps once they have been "imported".

Let's see if I can help.

Extract the *.fsh files from zdata_04.big (**do not uncompress!**)

**Note**
Using compressed fsh files will allow you to use eagraph to add them to the *.big file without a problem, and remember the pics you use are to be bitmaps!

(I said "Using uncompressed..." but the fsh files need to be compressed! My bad...:()

Hope that helps...

I have posted them at 128 * 128, but you need various sizes, starting with 64 * 64... I just wanted y'all to get a good look at 'em.
