Anyone managed to run WE6 with a Neo 2.2?

What about the Neo 3? I just bought a Ps2 premodded with a Neo 3 chip and they guy said it is supposed to play imports. Can this play original imports by just putting the disc in normally?
Do you mean that you don't have to do a knife trick or anything?
Do you just put the DVD region X in and take it out and then put the WE6 (or whatever) orginal in and play?

Nice to see a fellow blue round the forums here but I'll be honest that this is the first time I've heard about the Neo 3.
As for the neo 2.2 boot methods I copied/pasted this info:
Playstation 2 Boot Info
Standard Method
First Insert the AR2 disc then power off the Ps2 for 5 seconds
Turn on the machine
Let the AR2 boot
In the main menu - select “START GAME”
Then select “ WITHOUT CODES “
When the next screen appears press eject and swap the AR2 CD with your PS2 backup
As soon as the tray shuts press X
After pressing X the game will then start to load.
If you just get a black screen try below
EA Sports Method
Insert the AR2/GS2 disc
Power off the PS2 for 5 seconds
Press and hold the reset button - machine will boot
Menu screen will appear
Select START GAME (Still holding Reset)
Select WITHOUT CODES (Still holding reset)
Let go of reset - tray will eject and stay open for 4 seconds
The disc will still be spinning when using AR2/GS2 v1.4 & above
Swap AR2/GS2 disc with your PS2 backup
Do not press eject - the tray will close automatically
Press X AS SOON as the tray closes
For AR2/GS2 v1.4 & above you need to select O + R1 instead of X
The game will now load
EA Sports Method 2
Insert the AR2/GS2 CD1
Power off the PS2 for 5 seconds
Press and hold the reset button - machine will boot
Menu screen will appear
Let go of reset - tray will eject and stay open for 4 seconds

XTREME FM
Standard Method
no need to install XFM-Hardware)
Insert XTreme FM cd and power off for 5 seconds
Switch on
When you don't have the hardware inserted
A message will show up that you won't be able to save setting
Just confirm with "X"
The next message shows “about missing hardware”
Move the cursor in the background to START GAME
Press "X", when asked to insert game-CD
Press "EJECT"
Insert copy, PRESS "X", press "EJECT"
This is the most reliable method for the standard-swap!
EA Sport method
To play PS2 EA Sports Backups or others that won't boot with the above method
Insert Xtreme FM CD and power off for 5 seconds
Power on by pressing RESET
And HOLD (keep finger on reset)
Until XFM Menu has loaded
Release Reset
Tray comes out, swap for Backup,
Tray slides back in by itself after 6 seconds
Move cursor to START Game, press "X"
Problems with Ready2Rumble
Uses the normal EA Boot Method to boot the game
As soon as the game starts to check the Memory Card Press EJECT
Wait a couple of seconds until the main Ready2Rumble screen appears
Close the tray and the game should now work ok
Psx Originals
Insert your PSX original
Power off the PS2 for 5 seconds
Press reset for 1 second (Until blue light comes on) then let go
Game will now boot as normal - the chip is deactivated
DVD Region X
Boot method 1
Insert the DVD Region X Disc and power off for 5 seconds
Power up the PS2
When the DVD X Menu is on the screen (the numbers screen)
Eject the DVD X disc and replace it with your game copy
and close the tray.
Then just push the ‘START’ button and your copy will play
EA Sport/other
Insert the DVD Region X disc and power off for 5 seconds
Power up the PS2 keeping finger on RESET button.
When the menu appears (Numbers screen) release the button.
The disc will now eject.
You now have 5 seconds to replace the DVD Region X Disc with
your game copy.
Don’t press eject button the tray will automatically close by itself
Once the tray is closed push the ‘START’ button and your
game copy will play.
