Thanks for the avatar... and yes, I know what a Coon is. That's not what I am trying to reffer to though. Our towns mascot and my school's mascot are both Raccoons. The nickname for the mascot is Coon, so everyone calls it that.
We had a lawsuit filed though recently by a black parent, and now the term can't be used anymore. It's kinda retarded especially because it has been used to so many years and noone had anything to say about it.
