Anyone used the Solidus_J2K_CCP_Patch_v.3.0+.AFP?

Hiya..ive used (from evo-web.com)Pared's version 0.1 guide and Solidus Jose 2ks guide and altered them for those who dont know how to add different patches together...so first id like to thank Pared for doing this guide aswell as Solidus.. ..since it was just this morning that i had never done this patching before..and i used pareds+solidus' guide and was successful on my first go.. no errors at all... anyways.. using the 2 guides ill combine wedoit patch, with
SJ2k v3.0 Patch(files), with TheBigK's adboard patch(files)/or nike kit patches

Programs/Items Needed
1.A clean version of Winning Eleven 6:FE (This game is on CD)
2.Clone CD - Burning program
3.WinRAR - http://files10.rarlab.com/rar/wrar311.exe
4.PPF-o-matic - Patching program.
5.CDMage - CD Image explorer utility
6.AFSExplorer
7. Rh4psody's 100% translation patch (And possibly winrar to un rar it. Win rar
is a zipping utility similar to Winzip)
8.Solidus Jose 2k's v3.0 files , there are six in all, ie.

Once you’ve downloaded these files (all must be in the same directory )you need to :
A.open S_J2K_CCPatch_v3.0+.exe
B.a winRAR self-extracting archive dialog box then appears, and in the “Install To” text box, type in a directory (one youll remember, eg c:\Solidus3.0\) to extract the files to. Click “Install”, and the following files will now appear in this directory you created and installed to:
a.Solidus_J2K_CCP_Patch_v.3.0+.AFP 41,369kb – most important file
b.Readme.txt
c.Tutorial.doc

Procedure
1) Create a clean image of WE6:FE

To do this launch Clone CD and put the WE6:FE cd in your drive. Click on the
read to image file button. (First one) Leave everything at default. If
you're using Clone CD 4, make sure Game CD is clicked. Hit next. Now, on the
next screen, click Browse. Save the file 'image.ccd' to the DESKTOP so you
can find it easily. Hit ok, then next. Let the computer do what it needs to,
don't use it during this time though! Make sure the screen saver and any
other programs are closed or else you risk errors or the read failing. You
should be left with at least two files: Image.img and Image.ccd. If you have
anymore, don't worry about them. Image.img is the one you use all the time,
ignore the others.

Now before you go on.. you need to know there are two types of patches...
1. if the patch file has an extention of ppf, eg. rhapsody's patch (once
extracted with winrar is called “WE6FE__WEdoIT_v1.0_.ppf”) - then, this means you must use PPF-o-Matic to apply it..which is easier...

2.other patches like Solidus Jose 2ks v3.0 crowd patch/files, and bigKs addboard patch/files require you to replace files yourself using CDmage and AFSexplorer....


2)Patching the Image file with Rh4psody's patch.

I've taken this from Dannyboy, who explains how to un-Rar Rhapsody's files:

-Open Winrar
-In the bottom window find the patch_wedoit_we6fe.rar file you downloaded,
click once.
-Click the EXTRACT TO button at the top
-In the new window, specify where you want the patch file to be extracted to
(Extract to your desktop). Click OK

Now, Open up PPF-o-Matic. This program is a CINCH to use, it's great! Run
it. Click the disk icon next to ISO file. Look for your Image.IMG file (not
image.ccd) Now, click the disk icon next to patch and search for Rh4psody's
Patch. It will be on your desktop and called "WE6FE__WEdoIT_v1.0_.ppf" if
you didn't change it. Select it, then click apply. If you were to add other
patches with the ppf file, you'd do the same thing.

You now have a 100% translated game with Rhapsodies patch if you burn it here. But if you go on...

Now to add bigKs addboards and Solidus Jose 2ks v3.0 crowd chant.
I found it easier to first add bigKs kanban_tex.bin file. Just less complicated.. youll know what I mean once you do it this way.. and then think about how you would do it the other way, ie. adding Solidus Jose 2ks v3.0 crowd chant before the addboards….

3) Getting the files out that you'll replace.

This is pretty simple. Open up the program CDMage. Go to file, open, and
select image.img. When the box comes up, select "M2/2352 track" and hit ok.
Your image is now loaded. Select "Track 1" and you'll see a file directory
show up in the window in the right. Right click "Filedata.afs" and select
extract files... Save it to your desktop. Don’t worry about closing Cdmage…you need it later.

4)Use AFSExplorer to actually edit the original files with the patched files.
Open AFSExplorer.
Go to File, then Import AFS file... Select
Filedata.afs, it should be on your desktop, ie. the one you extracted using using CDmage. Now, this program is very much like windows explorer, showing you all the files that one can edit.

Click the file you want to replace/edit then go to Action, Import
and find the file with the same name as the one you had selected(this is
the file youre replacing it with..... which will have the same name, but
has been changed by the patch maker).
In this case we want to replace the original kanban_tex.bin file with BigK's kanban_tex.bin file for his adboards. Go to /game/stadium/kanban_tex.bin. Select it and then go to Action, Import and locate the file with the same exact name (This is BigKs realistic ads file). Select BigK's kanban_tex.bin file, then go to ok. You might get an alert that says file is smaller, and padding with 0's will continue. Just hit ok. If you were to further add the New Nike Kit patch/files, you simply do the same thing, ie. replace the corresponding files, with the patched files. Eg. you’d replace the tex_pl005.bin file with the corresponding patched/altered tex_pl005.bin file.

Now to add the Solidus Jose 2k's v3.0 patch, ie. the already prepared Solidus_J2K_CCP_Patch_v.3.0+.AFP file. Ive got this directly from Solidus’s tutorial document.

5)Go to the ADVANCE Option in the menu bar, and select IMPORT PATCH..


6). Select the patch “SOLIDUS_J2K_CCP_PATCH_V3.0+.AFP”, ie. The one you prepared earlier.and click open





7).Choose “YES” to begin to load”.





8).Choose “YES” to confirm the AFS Rebuild.





9).Choose the name of the new AFS file. Remember this is the one you will be using later, ie. Reimporting using Cdmage at point




10).Choose a directory to save the new .AFS file. Remember this is the one you will be using later, ie. Reimporting using Cdmage at point



11).Wait to the AFS file Rebuild finish .




12).The AFS File has been create, click on OK.


13).Wait to the files into the patch , to be copy to the new .AFS File.




14).Follow the confirm windows.







Close the AFSExplorer. (Don't worry, any edits you do to this WILL BE SAVED).

15). Reimporting filedata.afs using CDMage

Do step 3 again, only instead of extracting file, Right click the
"filedata.afs" file (in the little explorer window) and click import file. Now
Find your NEW filedata.afs (look at point 9) that you saved on the desktop. Select it, and hit ok. That's it. DO NOT CLOSE CDMAGE!

16). Repairing the Image

While the CDMage program is STILL OPEN, go to Action, Scan for corruption.
Just hit ok.This will take a while. Then(if you get errors, I didn’t), go to Action, Repair Corrupted Sectors. Once done go to Action, Rebuild Sector Fields. Just hit ok. Once done close outof CDMage.

**NOTE**
by Choutos
CDmage doesn't repair all the sectors sometimes! So u have to run ECCRegen
after cdmage! Because ECC is especially designed for mode2 Playstation
images and repairs all the sectors! Keep in mind!
(Another side note by me: I didn't need to use ECC Regen, and in fact when I
tried to, I kept getting an error. So while it may repair some other errors,
I didn't need to do it and still had a clean burn.)

17). Burning your new game

Open up Clone CD. Select Write from file. Select your Image.img from the
desktop, and hit next. Hit ok, or if you're using Clone CD 4, select game
CD, then ok. I only suggest burning at 4x speed.

There you have it. Follow this guide step by step to get a guaranteed burn.
I will go into further detail in a future update as to where other files
are. Just know, the key is in filedata.afs. Everything you are going to edit
is in there. Hope this helps some, and don't forget, more to follow...
