When I play on semi-pro, I may win, but I get so annoyed at little things that disrupt balance between me and the computer;
Goalkeeping: A goalkeeper with primary stats around 83 can pull of great saves, but mine with over 90 can't save the simplest of shots.
Shooting: My players, take Gerrard with brilliant shooting stats, can't put it on target 80% of the time from 25 yards without a placed shot which has no power. Yet, I played against Fulham and Andrew Johnson scored a full turn volley, with his left foot, from 35 yards, with a player pressuring him, whilst AJ was falling over. My awful goalkeeper obviously didn't save it.
Passing: Sometimes my players make stupid passes. If I tell them to pass to a player, if a player gets in the way of the way of the pass as I do so, then he will just pass into space, normally 2 inches from an opposition player. This doesn't always happen but it does.
Defending & Positioning: I find it hard to tackle, but that's probably just me. The positioning of my defence is what I really hate. If there is someone dribbling down the wing, and noone is chasing him, I switch to a free player and chase after him. Only at that point does my center backs or striker do the same, until I have about 3 people chasinga winger and noone in the box for the cross. I also find a lack of movement off the ball when I'm looking for a pass.
Crossing and heading: The CPU crosses tend to be correct in terms of stats, but mine are 60% rubbish. They tend to go straight away from my strikers. Also, why is it so hard to not cross the ball out of play when 2 yards from the byline? I barely ever win headers from corners either.
Reffing: Why do they get so many advantages? I lay off them in this situation just to keep the game flowing, yet this normally ends in a goal which, you guessed it, my keeper should have stopped.
I have got Onsche's gameplay patch which has improved the CPU shooting situation a little, yet the rest are still there.
Other patch ideas:
One for more realistic goalkeeping throws.
Something to stop me hearing chants of my profile's favourite team when they're not playing.
I also hate Deal or No Deal, anything we can do about that?
