Right-O heres me problem. My PES3 for PS2 finally crocked up after playing it solid for round about eternity. Now should, sorry when, i buy a replacement for it, should i get the PC version, or buy another PS2 disc so i can use my perfected option file and kits, anwell as keep the multiplability, or should i get the super-patchable pc version ? Argh, if only i could afford both !-

Well I'm in the same department almost.

Here in the US I can either wait until WE7:I comes out or I can get the PC version.

I don't have the greatest graphical computers but it's extremely efficient for other stuff. It's a laptop Pentium M w/ 512 RAM. I worry about getting PES3 and not being able to run it properly. The demo version didn't run smooth at all.

I know WE7:I will be the same as PES3 but uneditable as there's really no community in the US to do that. Or I can get PES3 but have a chance that I can't run that at all. I don't have the money to get both.

So I guess if you can live with not having patches and real kits and all that stuff then the PS2 versions is the way to go. If you must have that stuff then I would go with the PC version as when the community gets going, the patchs for the PC game are going to be amazing. Think FIFA times 100 in terms of the community size. All the FIFA-ites will no longer have to make great patches for a bad game.

I would say go with the PC version if you think your CPU will handle it. But the other point of that there's nothing like having a few mates around in front of the TV on the couch.

JRod I live in the US and I know your plight. It's too bad you have a laptop since you probly cant upgrade it. All you would need is a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 to run the game well which you can get for >$100.

Allthough limited, I'm thinking there will be some patches done for WE7:I or atleast some that will work anyway but maybe only for those with a DVD burner unless a CDrip is possible.

But in the end with the editing potential the PC version is the definitive version for big time fans and purists of the sport.

But getting a good soccer game has always been a pain for those of us in the US
