THE nephew of Premiership star Jay-Jay Okocha has been signed by title chasers Arsenal — at the age of SEVEN.

Talent scouts swooped for soccer wonderkid Alex Iowbi after he blasted 33 goals to help his junior club Rippleway win the league last season.

And The Gunners didn’t even know Alex, of Plaistow, East London, was the nephew of Bolton star Jay-Jay.

The youngster — who joins Arsenal’s Junior Soccer Academy when he turns eight in May — said: “I would like to be like Jay-Jay. He is a great player.”

His proud mum Patience, 35 — sister of Nigerian star Jay-Jay — said Alex learned to kick a ball as soon as he could walk.

anyway, Jay-Jay Okocha is one of the most skillful and entertaining players ever, so Gunners are damn lucky if his nephew turns out even half as good as him. (:/)

I agree. If this was in the Arsenal thread I would have never read it. Something this out of the ordinary should be posted somewhere everyone will notice it.
