Fans arrested after Henry incident

Two supporters were arrested at today's Community Shield between Manchester United and Arsenal at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium after a cigarette lighter and a bottle were thrown at Gunners striker Thierry Henry.

Henry was about to take a corner midway through the first half when the objects were hurled out of a part of the ground occupied by United supporters.

Stewards moved in swiftly to identify those concerned, who now face a three-year banning order preventing them from attending any professional match in England and Wales.

Pires reveals Vieira move

Arsenal's Robert Pires has revealed Patrick Vieira has finally decided to quit Highbury and move to Real Madrid.
Arsene Wenger wants Vieira to clarify his future but Pires claims he has already made up his mind to leave.

Pires said: "All the players wanted Patrick to stay but he has made a choice and we respect that. We can all understand why he's decided to go."
