Alan Smith has played in MF for ages now (who puts in a lot of tackles and wins a few tackles), Paul Scholes has been playing in his position for a long time - so why have you only just picked up on this? You should be more concerned with your crappy midfield instead. I don't care how young they are, they're just not good enough right now.

For ages? He played as a forward his entire career, then Sir decided he would make a good defensive midfielder out of the blue. And he's playing at this position for like, 2 seasons or so. Compared to the time he spent as a forward, it's nothing.

He didn't play that well. Could of given away a penalty, Reyes nutmegged him twice (). He was average.

Actually, he used to be playing as a midfielder at times for our feeder club, but yeah, I agree that he is best when playing as a foward.
