Good game. Lehmann pulls off a super double save to keep the score 1-0. van Perise beats 3 players and then powers a shot about 8 yards from the bi-line top corner. Wonderful stuff.

Robin van Perise joined us only for a few million... and he's worth a lot more. Quality buy by Arsene.

Personally, I think its not so much down to who he has alongside him and how they thrive, but rather, I think its more down to who the team attempt to gesture towards in the winter window, and the demonstration of the boards willingness to spend and compete on the level that a club like Barca, looking at what they have amassed the past few years, are willing to do. That said, my money is on him staying at Highbury.

I guess alot will depend on whether youre still in your vein of good form when January rolls around. If so, he might not even care.

actually Arsenal did not play so good,but they where effective on there few chances!
Lehman had a god day,saving pedersen and Bellamy's shoots,but then again it's all about scoring goals!

we dont need a defender. i strongly feel ashley isnt going anywhere. and if he does we have clichy, maybe we shud get an experienced backup. in the centre of defence we have 3 quality centre halfs, no need for another. in centre midfield, which is probably the weakest area, is becoming much stronger with fabregas playing very very well and gilberto harboring the defence. currently we dont need anything.

well we dont need any first teamers, i suppose, but we need to back up that centre midfield. flamini isnt going to cut it. and obviously we are a hugely injuery prone team so every position needs 2 backups imo
