Some background.
I am a FIFA convert. Actually, a CL04-05 convert. That was the best footie game EA ever produced...warts and all.
I have FIFA06 and, until I got PES5, it was pretty friggin' good but let's face it, it's not very hard. I actually find PES5 on 2* TOUGHER than FIFA06 on Pro/Slow.
I tried 3* - and every game is either 1-0 (either way) or 0-0.
5* sees me lose, but usually by single goals or by multiple late goals - bottom line? great games.
Now 2*? Man, this is where the fun is. One game i can beat the top of the table 5-1, the next I get fleeced by a mid-to-lower table team 3-1. It's a lot of fun on this level, IMO. Some very nice goals to be had and the games are totally enjoyable.
