You added a texture into the game, not replace it???
How did you do it? I suspect not by using frosty editor...

That looks like a generic kit, so it might be possible to use the file(s) that the game is using to supply that texture when added to the database.
We will have to have a look at where the game called that file from.

I used Frosty to extract db files and DB Master where I simply copy/paste goal keeper kit as a third. Wish there was a way to add textures - hopefully someone with more experience of game mechanics can get it to work properly

Ok, let's make this clear.
You assigned as third kit the team's gk, meaning another team gk or the team you add the kit gk?
And the team you added the third had no third kit by default, but by cloning with db master, the game recognized the kit?
I tryed to add a fourth kit to man.city by cloning home kit, but the game did not see it.

Fulham has only got two kits so all I did was to copy goalie kit record in DBMaster change id to 3 ,imported altered db files through Frosty and saved it as a mod. Result you can see on screenshot. 3rd kit but kind of generic without proper textures. I did try to use Liverpool third just as a test but with the same results. The only succes so far was to change textures of existing kit - import export dds files through frosty

tried the same got same result, by looking at frosty from what i understood you also need to create a folder for a 3rd kit, what seems not possible on frosty now, so when the db look for this 3rd kit folder and dont find it, it show this generic one
