The socceroos are very underrated, and did not loose any qualifying games for wc98.

They lost on the away goals rule against Iran. Australia would have performed better than Iran and USA in group G at France 98.

Terry Venables is lousy coach anyway, fancy not shutting up shop when the socceroos were 2-0 up.

Australian Rules is the no1 football game in Australia. Rugby Union and Rugby League don't come close. They play it in the QLD, NSW and some team won it from Melbourne this year.

Firstly, Kewell nor Ronaldo are playing in the series, which will allow the other players from both countries to shine.
Both games , in Sydney and Melbourne, are now free tickets so i advise all Aussies in these cities to come along and show your support for Australia.
Australia is a very underated soccer team, and we were unlucky to not qualify for WC98. We lost no qualifying games and lost on aways goals. I was at the second leg in Melbourne and was extremely dissapointed with the result. It was a great match and the atmosphere was fantastic. I hope this series can match it!
This will be no walkover for Brazil, Australia will put up a good fight, showcasing the typical Aussie spirit.
Beware the thunder from down under!!!

anyway, I hope there are some patches for Rugby 2000 like a Super 12 patch but there are probably very few patches for those games, AFL 99 only had one

There is no super 12 pc game down here in new Zealand sorry, also sadly EAsports have decided to use Clive Woodward as a consultant for the rugby 2000 game. I hate to think of how poor the gameplay will be.
Nice to see the Aussie under17 soccer team beat germany yesterday, with New Zealand out of the youth world cup as far as this kiwi is concerned its " Gooooooo Ausssiieeeeeesssss"

I'm from Cambridge Ontario...I think Brazil will easily beat Australia now that they already know how they play football? They try to kick as many players as they can...you know what is their coach favourite saying? "GET THE PLAYERS FORGET ABOUT THE BALL"...Sad huh? Well hopefully they'll play the ball instead of the player's legs next time....good thing they had a good goalie otherwise the score wouldn't be so low....I would say that brazil will win the next game by a score of 5 X 0....
