I'm please to announce that I've finished the latest version of Awesome Soccer - Awesome Soccer World 2010.

ASW210 is a fast action soccer game with 16 Tournaments to challenge for including World 2010. Score amazing swerving goals, overhead kicks and diving headers thanks to the intelligent - yet easy to use - control system. The game includes over 280 teams (and has a Team Editor to create your own or modify existing team badges, players names and skills).

I can imagine that you must have so much more to do with your life than downloading and playing my pathetic game, but after submitting over 14 thousand plus posts in a (hint, hint) Soccer Gaming forum, perhaps even someone with your obvious intellectual capacity might realise it's not that great an assumption to consider that this might indeed be a place where people do give a **** about soccer games in general (as you so eloquently put it, by the way).

I have downloaded your game a few months ago and it was pretty bad. Gotta call it how it is friend. PES and FIFA are at the forefront and this game didn't even compare to the other (less) competitors such as new star's sensational world soccer. The AI and gameplay in general were poor and didn't resemble a soccer match.

Horatiu - you make some interesting points, but you are also (by your own admission) basing your opinion about the new version on the old version you tried months ago. I have listened to the feedback about Awesome Soccer, and I believe I have made the game much, much better.

All elements of the AI and gameplay can be changed easily enough - it's getting constructive feedback that is difficult. The NSS series you mention would be a case in point - it took until version 3 for it to resemble the current iteration, and also there's now a NSS4 and the other Sensational games.....it was a journey, getting feedback, tweaking, improving etc etc.

As I say, I'd really value constructive feedback from players who have downloaded the game.

It is amazing how much people care about stuff they don't care about... it would have been so easy to ignore this thread in the first place, why return to it? When my PC is back up and running I'll give this latest iteration a go and will give my opinions here.

I tried it few months ago. I didn't like it because I'm not too much into old school football games. Not really my type.
