Well, maybe not the greatest ever, but, after winning yesterday's Portuguese SuperCup he became the footballer in history with more titles!
Baía collected his 26th title in another Porto win over Benfica, surpassing 2 football legends: Pelé and Frank Rijkaard, both with 25 titles under their belts.
Baía is the only portuguese player to have won all european club titles: the extinct Cup Winners Cup for Barcelona and the UEFA Cup and Champions League for FC Porto. Add to that his UEFA nomination as best european goalkeeper of last season and you got a kickass season for the veteran.
He's a good guy and I'm happy for the man. I've met him in person for the first time when he was 19 years old, back in my high school, and thought he had the patience of a saint for signing autographs for 3 straight hours. Besides, he gets on ManU fans' nerves, so what else could you ask?
