Background leagues

For all of the years I have played CM , I have never once picked the background league as an option.

What does this do for you when you select one or more leagues...could someone list the positives and negatives of running league with background leagues .

the positives are that you could pick up a good player from the lower leagues and the negatives are that this won't happen very often and you will have to use more memory up doing this... you could have the chance of managing a lower league club and getting them into the higher leagues too and this will go well if you want to become one of the best managers in the world and get a good job.......

Positives:

Can change background leagues to selected leagues and visa versa.

Can poach players from background leagues.

Negatives:

Slows up game considerably + loading times longer.

Uses up more virtual and system memory.

All in all, I don't use them very often.
