Bad News for PES 2008 Fans in USA!!!

I am afraid to say that PES 2008 will not be arriving on North American shores until Spring 2008

You may want to start looking for Uk or european retailers that ship to the US for a copy , depending on your prefered platform of course.

Not like your informing us of anything new, frankly. The European version is always released in October and the North American version is always released the following year around February/March. Been like that since WE6.

Will the european version work on an american xbox 360? if so i will just get the game off ebay. i guess i would not be able to play online though.

What a dissapointment. I hope Konami gets killed sales wise in the NA. I findn it hard to believe that they cant release the game on time worldwide. I want to know the reasoning behind this, doesn't Konami owe us this after all the stunts they have put NA fans through. Lucky fifa is improving, I hope it call hold me all year and develop past PES or atleat close enough for fans in NA to never have to return to PES. Truly pathetic on Konami's part. I guess until NA fans expect more from Konami we will continue to get screwed. I hate you Konami!

don't worry lads, FIFA 08 will outsell it and laugh. This might make Konami wake up.

FIFA always outsells cause the game is available all over the world much, much faster...only a handful will actually wait around for evo while others will go and buy FIFA.

The fifa demo is outstanding. I was looking forward to pes but after hearing mostly negative things I am sure I will pick up fifa and not even think of PES. Not this year. Fifa got it right, very right. For those of you blind fanboys or just people sitting on the fence, give it a try. Play 20+ halves of the demo and you will be super impressed. 360 version that is

what "negative things" do you mean? It looks to me, the animation of players in fifa is still very similar to what it's always been, robot like. Other than that, until the game is out, don't hold your breath and bet on it.
