He is jealous, whatever club he supports will never achieve half as much as United or Real. I am actually beginning to question whether he actually watches football. :(

Since you are Nigerian, how do you know what team is a laughing stock around europe?

Regarding Madrid, laughing stock that attracts the top players in the world and most of south americans want to play for them.

As for United, that's just a dumb statement you made. Why did you even bring them into the discussion.

Funny how you call the two richest and biggest football franchizes the laughing stock, if anything we should be laughing at you for being ignorant.

Maximus, i must confess, you sound like an illiterate. So becus i am nigerian, i am supposed to be living in trees, where i will not know what is happening in Europe. For ur information, they have satelite television in Africa and Africans are well informed. By the way, I do not live in Africa.

To the issue, you have solidified my point, the two "richest and biggest" football franchizes have been the biggest under achievers in the last 3 years, is that not enough to make them laughing stocks?? please dont make me laugh, becus it is actually funny. I have never said madrid was not a big club, they are, but their continuous failure and useless management has made them the laughing stock they are today.

As for United, ballack? Ronaldinho? RObben? Obi? Diarra? ha ha ah top players do not want to go there, and watch Cristiano Ronaldo walk out on them too.

U better hold on to the past, becus thats all you will have for a long time. With henry going to barca, i suggest you petition UEFA to move Madrid to the Austrian league, becus thats the only place you will have success!

How much will Ballack be getting at Chelsea?

Enough to potentially make you wonder about Kenyon's "2010 master plan" for Chelsea...Ballack was not nee.de.d.

How would i know where you live  . Satellite television doesn't get you informed of what europeans think and laugh about, it just shows you games. but since you don't live in africa, whatever, good for you.

Again starting with Madrid, Just because Barca has better players and play better as a team, does that make Real the laughing stock? Sure, they lost to Arsenal in the CL, but so did Juventus, is Juventus a laughing stock too then?

As for United, don't even try to put a word "underachiever" and "United" together. First of all, what does 700 million pounds of debts have to do with underachiving? Now in the last 3 years United won the FA Cup and Carling Cup, made it to the FA Cup final twice and this year lost out to the FA Cup champion just like Chelsea did. If you say that's bad for our stature, then how about the fact that we got 83 points in EPL this season, which is 1 less than title winning 92/93 season and equal to or more than in the 96/97, 98/99, 00/01 and 02/03 title winning seasons? Re-think your definition "under-achiever" definition again please, beucase if anything United had a great season by THEIR standards, notice how i say their and not Chelsea's. Ballack, Ronaldinho, Robben, Obi, Diarra? Ballack did go to the best team in England and i am not ashamed to say it, lots of money can get you anything and please don't think that just because United were the richest club in the world they could spend 100 million pounds on players a year. Ronaldinho transfer was screwed over by the money grabbing ****, who went to Chelsea a few weeks after, Ronaldinho himself said that United were his first choice. Robben and Obi like money and Chelsea has more money to dispose than United and Obi is not even in Chelsea yet either, nobody knows what the hell he is doing. As for Diarra, the guy didn't even sign for anybody yet, what the hell is he doing on that list?

Good joke about Ronaldo walking out as well. :ewan:

I gather Ballack has gone to chelsea for 90 grand a week, which is less than what Stevie Gerrard bullied liverpool into paying him.

Chelsea needs ballack. With Essien and Lampard, they were not creative from the midfield enough. i do not rate lampard, please dont ask me why, but i just see him as the kind that is not technicaly gifted. all he does is get the ball and shoooooooooottttt!

When he plays along side ballack, u will see the difference. he will look so ordinary.

Ballack came to Chelsea on a free transfer. Over the three years that his contract runs, he will earn 30 million pounds. If we would of had to pay a transfer fee for Ballack, it would have been somewhere in the region of between 20 and 30 million pounds i would guess. If you work that out then really, Ballack comes to Chelsea very cheaply. Its like paying the transfer fee but he plays for free. As long as we see him perform to his best it will be money well spent in my opinion. How, in your opinion that effects anything to do with the "2010 masterplan" , is a point i just dont see.

Maximus, its easy to blame Robben and Obi as wanting more money, but has it ever occured to u that these players must have thought to theirselves - "Man , is i go to united, i will never win the league, chelsea will dominate for years and I will just be in a team that fights for second spot evry year? No, i have gotta join the better team." has that occured to you? maybe not.

P.s - take my dibs on Ronaldo seriously. i have heard pretty serious talk tat he is gone. United are not paying attention to him, instead they are worrying about frustrating RUUD.

Man I have read a few of your posts. You are entitled to your opinion of course, and some of them i agree with. Lampard is ordinary is not one of them. You have obviously only seen Frank on a rare off day. I will say no more about the subject.

Can anyone say inferiority complex? He didn't say anything about you living in trees Carlos*ass.

Man shut the hell up. How about you actually use your brain and discuss why the biggest football 'franchizes' are in the situations they're in instead of mindlessly bashing them? Now you're beginning to sound like you live in the jungle.

Why? Because we can't throw 26 million quid at them? Fine, then we wouldn't want them because they dont give a damn about the club anyway.

Oh and I hope Obi gets shot on the streets of Nigeria, little prick.

EDIT: Oh and Obi isn't a top player, he's barely played for one club and that's.....drumroll please....LYN. Yes, real top lad idn't he?

Well I "heard" it was 120K a week. I dont know if there was a signing on fee or not. I'm fairly sure that there was not. Although i guess there could have been of course.

Pede, i have seen Lampard play right from his west ham days. The man is pretty ordinary. He scores goals, and thats becus when ever he gets the ball, his first instinct is to shoooooottttt. He is the reason ppl like Driogba and Crespo cannot score 20-25 goals a season. his job is to create, yet he seeks to shoooooottttt at sight. As i have said, when u see ballack play for chelsea, u will see the difference. Lampard having off days? ha aha ah I believe he has an off-season. ppl talk of his goals, and i must confess, its phenomenal for a midfielder, but thats all he does shhhooooootttt!!!

My friend, Mikel will not get shot in the streets of Nigeria. He is very much loved there and Nigerians are not savaes. We dont go about shooting ppl, dead.

P.s - like most of ur fans have said. Obi is better than all ur Central midfielders combined. thats why sir alex ran to Norway, knelt down and pleaded with him to join United. obi told Sor Alex to stand up and "F" off!!!

Most, if not Every player on a free asks for a sign-on fee. this is becus they usually get a bonus if the had been bought!

Kaycee2g, sorry mate but you are so wrong about Lampard. You are probably the only person in the World that holds that opinion about him. Sure Ballack is a different kind of midfield player, not very different but different non the less. Lampard brings more to the Chelsea team than just goals as well. Yes, this season was not as fantastic for him as last season, not counting the goals of course, but remember, he has played 2 complete seasons without a break. For all that Frank was still great for us this season. Last season he earned the accolade " best midfielder in the world". He came second to Ronaldinho for WORLD player of the year. How can so many people be so wrong and you can be so right?

Bayern spokesman Markus Horwick told Sky Sports News:"Together with Frank Lampard, he is maybe one of the most complete midfielders in the world."...... :read:
