Banned for 5 Years!?

A Malaysian local footballer (K Kumaran) has been banned for 5 years by the FAM (Malaysian Football A$s) after being sent of by the referee and he acted by throwing the ball towards the ref and then headbutt him.
Pheww, its 5 years man, and he can only appeal after 2 years serving the ban. Before this, another player (Shahrul Azhar) was banned for 9months but after apealing he only have to serve 7months ban, where he also attacked the referee (but im not sure by what way).

Damn, 5 years and 9 months.....wtf?
Is there any other player in the world being banned for that period of time 'just' because headbutting the ref?

Headbutting a ref would get a similar ban anywhere in Europe i would think. 5 years is what the thug deseved. Not harsh at all when you consider what he did. That will sure make other dickheads think twice in future.

i read about a guy in the iraq league who attacked the referee with a tank
