Bargain Trades

Heres my bargain buys for Fifa 2004, that I have found so far.

McManaman - Man City (he is brilliant, really good shot, and can setup plays with great passes!)

Wayne Bridge - Chelsea (Very good, and quick)

Delap - Southampton (Fast, excellent for a RB)

Le Saux - Southampton (He's Graeme Le Saux!)

Jermaine Pennant - Leeds (Cheap, good on the right)

Alan Smith - Leeds (Very, very good shot, talented)

they're all I can think of, but you don't need to buy Thierry Henry's to have a very skilled team :).

that should be a reason NOT to buy the pr*ck...just don't tell the tip to david batty or they'll probably be all over each other again like when they were back in blackburn... ;)

good pick with wayne bridge...very good player...but i have to say that the biggest bargain is cannavaro...as well as curro torres from valencia :)

McManaman is the best trade!

I sold Gary Speed for a beauty price, got him cheaper, and I swear he is better :|

Playing in the English 1st div, as Stoke, I have found a couple of cheap players who are pretty usefull

christain wilhelmson (very nice winger - 90 pace )
martin koalla - cost 0.9 if i remember is an excellent LAM

Vincent Kompany from Anderlecht (Belgium). Splendid central defender. Mido from Olympique Marseille.

It depends on what you call a bargain, but for Ajax these are two wonderful players, as well as Mark van Bommel (PSV).

Lobont
Trabelsi, Kompany, Maxwell
Yakubu

v.Bommel Litmanen v/d Vaart

Sonck Ibrahimovic Mido

Hell yeah!!!!

he's on the Leeds roster in the game.

I find, my Newcastle squad plays well with depth, and the rotation of players, as well as a fine tuned defence.

Before I sold Titus Bramble, I played him once or twice in Central Midfield and I gotta say, he's good ;).

Fast, Central defenders are strong, and really make defending easier when you have two good CB's, and two defensive, but fast CM's. That way, I attack through the wings, and send in crosses, or slow down play and pick apart the opposition defence with some beautiful CM passes :).

My Newcastle defence is good, but it's still not great. Shiittier teams can still manage to find a way through with my revamped defence, but I can keep the good teams down and out :)

i believe it is too easy to get an awesome team - but i ain't complaining: wit arsenal i have:

lehman
lauren nesta lucio ashley cole
ljungberg xavi vieira pires
henry mutu

bench: sol campbell, gilberto, lampard, bergkamp, wiltord, toure, kaka, edu, senderos, stu taylor, aliardiere, keown, sun jihai and some more but i can't remember - after one season! u need a big squad like that cos your players get tired quickly.

Ashley Cole is a good buy.

I traded him to Newcastle, LB has never been so strong :D

my team would be:

GK: Given
RB: Delap
RCB: Woodgate
LCB: Bridge/Le Saux
LB: Ashley Cole

RWM: Dyer/Pennant
RCM: Bowyer
LCM: McManaman/Viana
LWM: Robert/Viana

RF: Shearer/Smith
LF: Bellamy/Ameobi

something like that, and trust me, that is a bloody good team!

I hate conceding goals... it just ****s me royally. Because usually they're just goals I should have stopped.

yep, they're not classy, just a goal they got cause the opposition got me off guard when I am attacking heavily.

Both Kaka and Roque Santa Cruz are good buys because they are cheap and they play very well

mocas>>> yup, Curro Torres is marvelous defender. But the best thing is Fabio Aurelio (Valencia too). He is defender too, but he can play just about anywhere. Coz he has very good stats overall and it's easy to score goals with him, just as grab balls off the attackers foots (his skill is 81)

Juninho of Birmingham is an excellent buy. While his skill is listed only 77, his actual, in-game skill is 83. Plus, he doesn't have real weakness for players with higher in-game skills. Players with upsides (ones with higher in-game skills than listed) generally have a major weakness. Scholls, for instance, whose in-game skills (76) exceed his listed one (70) by 6, has a minimum 'strength' of 50. That's not very balanced. Juninho is an exception. You get a well-balanced mid-80 mid-filder for the price of a 77 CAM. Now that's a bargain.

may sound stupid but is the skill all their attributes averaged or just how good they are?
