i believe it's depend on ur local place....errr.. i dunno how to say this...

but it's the same for Bayern Munchen & bayern Munich...in Malaysia, we called them as Bayern Munich...& i believe many parts of the world call them as Munich too :)

the city is called
Basel in German (original name)
Basle in English
Bâle in French
Basilea in Italian
and so on

the club is named after the city, so it's official name is FC Basel 1893.

But as we have three "language-regions" (German, French, Italian) here in
Switzerland everybody is calling it different. So I think you can write it as you
like ... we don't care ... :)
