Rensing - Sagnol, Ismael, Lucio, Lahm - Salihamidzic (Karimi 58), Demichelis, Ballack, Zè Roberto (Scholl 77) - Pizarro, Makaay (Guerrero 80)

are you f*cking serious?

I blame this lost all on Magath

no Diesler? no Schweinsteiger? and what pisses me off he didn't use them while playing at home. All his sub calls were ridicules especially starting Hasan :| i'm so disappointed with Magath's gameplan tonight and i didn't even get to watch the match.

i'm sorry but a 1-1 against Milan heading to there house is somewhat to a lost IMO.

Hasan is a great player but he hasn't played in a while if i'm not mistaking and to not put Diesler or Schweinsteiger at a home game was a mistake that may cost Bayern come the return leg

yea good point if that's what you meant. I'm f*cking gutted about it.

Yea true, injury has been messing him up his entire Bayern career almost. I didn't see the game today so I was hoping that he did good. I guess not, he wouldn't have gotten subbed.

Hasan is a great player when he is on game HE IS ON GAME and I love his attitude on the field, Just feel this wasn't the right game for him to play

He got subbed because of a bleeding nose. He played well, ran his ass off and played with a lot of passion but I think Deisler would have been a better fit against Serginho who didn't look comfortable at all. Deisler's our top goal scorer in the CL and his crosses are way better than Brazzo's.

Rensing proved again that he's a great talent. He needs to gain muscle though.

I blame it on the up front duo. Pizarro and Makaay. Felix has some guilt in throwing Guerrero a lil' too late. i mean we cannot excpect goals from a player that is on the verge of leaving such as Ballack. man i so wish we had a Henry type of player. he owned the madrid defense by himself.

Edit:
Part of the blame falls on the refere too. That dude had no reason on giving that penalty. It was such a shame.

Nontheless i'm confident that we will be able to pull a Liverpool on them at Meazza. :p

As long as he has a contract at Bayern and is being paid like a superstar, why not? He seems to be relaxed despite all those rumors about his future.

The two definitely didn't perform like they use to.

We really need to new blood up front. Klose or Podolski would be SO welcome. I think a lot of it really does harken to what those insane peruvians were saying, or at least hinting at. There is no competition for a place in the match squad as far as Makaay and Pizzaro are concerned. They are pretty much a guaranteed play when healthy. We need another top quality striker to really get them to stay at a top level of play.

Podolski's had a rather poor season with Cologne so far. He scored only 5 goals, 2 of those were penalties. He might be benched in the following weeks - at the last placed team that doesn't score enough goals.
This could be due to his teammates who don't have the class to feed him.

This should drop his market value a bit, my guess is it wouldn't take more than 8-10 million to get him. It looks like Cologne's gonna get relegated and he surely won't play in the second division again, this means we have to buy him now. We'd get high competition signing him, Hamburg is in desperate need of a striker and they can offer him something.

In 2007 he'd only cost 1 million, I think Bayern are waiting to see where Cologne's going, if they do a miracle and stay in the Bundesliga Podolski might stay for another year.

Didn't Guerrero try that already for scoring all those goals in the winter break? seriously what more does he have to do to gain respect and the chance to start? threaten the coach with a gun? ridicules how people are forgetting Guerrero, if Guerrero is given the proper chance he will succeed. I'm not talking out of my ass to say START GUERRERO DROP MAKAAY DISCUSSION. I don't care who Magath drops either Pizarro or Makaay, but Makaay can't always rely on the perfect passes everytime and always be cold on the rest. He needs to contribute alot more, Now the same goes for Pizarro but so far the matches I seen him play he likes to help out in the midfield.

maybe it's the hair :((H)

but seriously this kid is amazing and how he loves to play and represent his nt side, you should see him play for the NT. He gives it his all, I think they should just loan him out for one year and see what happens.

Same for me. It's probably because I really have only seen him play in the Champions League when he was younger, and he was totally over his head. And if he tries hard, hey that's great, but he's no Makaay and he's no Pizarro, and he's no Podolski.

Well good to hear that he had a decent game. I saw the highlights, and he had that one good cross that Ballack was close to putting away. Deisler has been in outstanding form though and was probably a better fit for this game. It'll be interesting to see how Maggath goes about his tactics for the return leg. Any predictions?

I seriously miss the old Makaay 'The Dutch Ace', 'King Roy'. The Makaay that would be on every Champions League Game's scoresheet. It would be truly sad if that was the best of him and the last aswell.

Come on King Roy, I still believe in you.

Bayern 3-1 Frankfurt at HT 2x Guerrero, Ballack

Makaay's on the bench and Guerrero has already scored twice and nicely assisted Ballack's goal. Rensing with one great save.

This is Paolo's day. :rockman:
