He seems intent on making a prize tit of himself in the process. Having been told to stop his incessant whining by a justifiably peeved Bayern, Hargreaves has decided the best course of action is to call a press briefing this afternoon, in which he will whine incessantly about being denied his dream move by that contract he signed a couple of months back.

Bayern are incensed that Hargreaves reputedly had face-to-face talks with Sir Alex Ferguson at United's training ground and have reminded him that, if true, he is breaching the terms of his £18,000-per-week contract. According to reports in Germany, the club's general manager, Uli Hoeness, rounded on Hargreaves in front of the other players. "I am incredibly disappointed in you," he reportedly said. "You are prostituting yourself to Manchester United."

Hargreaves yesterday abandoned the idea of a press conference after it was made clear he was risking a backlash from Bayern's fans should the transfer fail to go through. He had been expected to re-iterate his plans to move to Old Trafford.

Thank God Bayern fans are finally letting go... I was hoping this continues so Pizarro can finally leave that treacherous team. And hopefully he doesn't stay the full contract, it would hurt so much to see him play there that my eyes will bleed.

Don't get high hopes about Klose because even if he does arrive at Bayern, he wont be the same player he was, because as we all know, when you go to Bayern, you level of play drops.... like magic.

Don't underestimate us, in 2006 we only lost one game, and this season's team is better than last season.

Don't get high hopes about Klose because even if he does arrive at Bayern, he wont be the same player he was, because as we all know, when you go to Bayern, you level of play drops.... like magic.

Here's a list of players that either improved or stayed at the same high level at Bayern: Makaay, Lucio, Sagnol, Lizarazu, Effenberg, Elber, Scholl. What a coincidence that all those players are/were truly worldclass. Players that don't make it don't have the quality or can't handle the pressure. Pizarro isn't bad (def better than Santa Cruz) but not more than above average.

Hargreaves is fit and will be playing on Saturday. He said he would always give 100% regardless of which jersey he wears. He will accept Bayern's decision.

So a Juve palyer after all?

I think another experienced player could really help us. Then we could return to the diamond midfield with him on the right and Deisler in the center.
I see Brazzo as the perfect sub.
