Honess has more or less confirmed that Luca Toni will be wearing the Bayern shirt next season but they will present all the new palyers at once in a week or two.

i imagine maybe with jansen and zé. if they come we would improve a lot.
with they and a new midfielder, the team should be ok. and if they decide sell vbuyten and buy delpierre i would be happy too. but i like vb.

STUTTGART!!!!! YEAH!!!!!

That's fantastic. I hate Schalke, and while I respect Werder Bremen, I would prefer if they didn't win the Bundesliga either. Stuttgart is the best alternative.

I don't like the idea of buying 29 or 30 year old players. They are on the down turn of their career, but probably just as expensive as a 24 year old. Injuries are more likely, and they can't go for 5 years, only 2 or 3. That is not a good investment.

Hargreaves' sale will be completed in the next days. We get €26M plus x depending on ManU's achievements. Great deal.

More players have been signed, most probably from abroad, but they will be announced "after the season in England, Italy and Spain is over " to quote Beckenbauer. The board has approved a €100M+ budet for transfer fees and wages.

Schalke losing out to Dortmund of all teams was pretty classic. I'm not going to be buying the new shirt though, that uniform looks like it's out of MLS.

On Saturday a handful of players will play their last game in a Bayern jersey.

Time to say goodbye...

Mehmet Scholl (1992-2007)

He's had injury problems throughout his whole career but nonetheless he will be regarded one of the greatest Bayern players of all time. He was vital to our success in the 90s and always a greab sub in the past years.

Hasan "Brazzo" Salihamidzic (1998-2007) -- > Juventus

A fan favorite and also one of my favorite Bayern players of all time.

"Brazzo is the life and soul of the team. He's a positive influence in the dressing room, he always looks forward to the next challenge and even when we lose, he's big enough to stand up and be counted." Words of the highest praise from former boss Ottmar Hitzfeld for Bosnia international Hasan Salihamidzic, one of the game's genuine team players and the kind of professional who gives everything he has at all times.

Owen Hargreaves (1997-2007) -- > Manchester United

Our utility man for almost a decade. RB, LB, DM, AM, RM, LM, he did his job whenever it was needed. Just when he was about to become a cornerstone of the team he broke his leg and could only play 9 league games. Man United's offer was too good to be refused but Munich will always remain his second home.
Owen was the first home-grown player to work his way through the junior team ranks and establish a firm foothold in the first team.

Oh, and to Santa Cruz, Pizarro and Karimi, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

too lazy to check through the thread but..

Some rumours from Italy say that Inter are trying/tried to make Bayern let go of Toni by offering Adriano to Bayern.

However, the major term of the Adriano deal is that he cannot ever be sold to Milan to avoid another Ronaldo, Pirlo, Seedorf situation :D

but now i prefer toni. he scores more goals and adriano isn't doing nothing in inter. i only would prefer him over toni because is young, but no.

and bayern should sign jansen soon because seems barça and lyon are very interested in him

Adriano over Toni? I don't know but i like the idea very much. Adri is young and more gifted than Toni will ever be. He has been on a slump but changing team should motivate him.
And if Barca is interested in Jansen i think we stand no chance, wouldn't be so worried about Lyon really.

Adriano? No thanks. It's too much of a risk, he probably won't be cheaper than Toni and the latter guarantees us at least three years at the highest level. Our entire transfer policy of the past half a year has been to build a team around Toni.

Don't worry about Jansen. We only have to agree on a fee with Gladbach. He doesn't want to move abroad.

wow i missed so much the past 2 weeks. I was in Damascus and Paris, but i read everything you guys wrote. I guess we can forget about Sneijder now, since he wants to move to Spain. We should be looking into the Spanish and Portuguese leagues more often, they have some quality players. I want Van Buyetn and Lucio to remain as our CBs, those 2 are world class players and are known worldwide. I have a feeling that Schweini will snap into form next season with the arrival of Sosa and Altintop, he can play more freely with those guys around him. I want more players who are in their early 20's and not 30's.

Oh and THIS

Ballack to return to Bayern?!

Ballack has flattered to deceive at current employers Chelsea since signing last summer.

Some sources in the capital suggest there is resentment in the Blues camp given Ballack’s bank-busting salary.

Now the midfield star could be sacrificed by Jose Mourinho in the transfer window.

Bundesliga giants Bayern are ready to lure their former star player back to Germany – and Mourinho could give the green light for the shock switch to go through.

Having the Maestro back would be great

1. Ballack would never want to come back
2. our management would get the "morons of the century" award for letting a player go on a free and then buying him for a sh*tload of money back just a year later
3. our fans would tear down the Allianz Arena before that guy ever enters the stadium wearing a Bayern jersey again.

What we missed this season was his aerial presence, that should get better with Toni.

I want more players who are in their early 20's and not 30's.
You mean like

Rensing, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Podolski, Lell, Görlitz, Ottl, Hummels, Fürstner, (Schlaudraff, Altintop, Sosa, Jansen)?

Four of those guys were starters this season and it let us f*cking nowhere.

We need players who guarantee you at least three quality seasons. I don't f*cking care if they're 20 or 31.
