How did Kroos do?

He did okay. Most important was that he proved he can play at this level. He's equally skilled with both feet (no Schweini-like 20m above the bar shots with the left), that's a huge advantage in today's game. His ball handling skills are quite excellent.

Good to see Dos Santos out there. I'm still hoping to watch him play some more.

He came in cheap but : in early 2006 Bayern's chief scout presented the board two young promising players: Julio dos Santos and Daniel Agger. Magath wanted Agger but Hoeness didn't want to take a risk to sign an injured 20 year old player from Denmark. In the end Hoeness was the one who made the decision.

Too bad, another flop.. I just hope Sosa won't end up like this too. I haven't seen the kid in action yet.

Oh man! After seeing Agger play for the first time I made a point to go into the Liverpool thread to rave about him. He might be my favorite defender in the game right now. And what's wrong with Hoeness? The risk is in signing some unknown 23 year old from Paraguay, not a 20 year old international for a nation like Denmark!
