It's written in the "Schlagzeilen" section in the front page.

AZ: 'Lauth für fünf Millionen zu Bayern' (That means Lauth to Bayern for 5 million)

Lauth is good, last season where 1860 were better than this season, he scored alot of goals. 1860 sucked, so he does too. It's not a bad move, he can improve. We can also loan him to Stuttgart or some teams that are good to help players to improve.

In terms of necessity and money, this move would be completly stupid. We could've spend that on a midfielder or a defender. Five million, thats money! Now we have Hashemian, Makaay, Pizarro and Santa Cruz. We simply don't need ANYONE else in attack.

Lucio would've been sold anyway, so be happy that we paid you that amount of money.

Oh and wait a minute ... success ... Leverkusen mentioned in the same breath as success ....hmmm...

Berbatov would be nice in a few years. :D

Finally, no Lauth next season.
Here's what Rummenige said :

"Lauth won't be playing for Bayern next season. We've discussed the squad with Felix Magath and we already have five strikers, Makaay, Santa Cruz, Pizarro, Hashemian and Paolo Guerrero, a very promising reserve. I reckon Felix will play 4-4-2, i.e. with two strikers, so it doesn't make sense signing a sixth."

Some logic there...


Something about Frings :

"Up to now Dortmund have maintained their reluctance to sell. Their plan now is to see if they can pull off one or two other transfers. We'll have to wait, the transfer window lasts until 31 August and then we'll see what happens. We'll definitely have a strong team next season."

And about Lucio :

"We have a basis for agreement with Bayer Leverkusen and the same with the player. He needs to pass a medical, and if that's OK there's a good chance he'll be playing for us next term."

Overall transfers :

"Lucio will cost us a fair sum, Frings would also cost plenty, and we've targeted another midfielder from Portugal. These are expensive players and we'll need a payback, although our experience with Roy Makaay has been exceptional, he was very expensive, but he's paid back what he cost in the shape of goals."

15 million Euros is alot... I say he should go to Manchester. But then again, I am just partial to Tim Howard having a good defense in front of him next year.

"We haven't received an offer from Barcelona, and I don't know if his management have received an offer. As a club we only concern ourselves with facts. If there's an offer then we'll take action, but it would have to be for the right amount before we even started thinking about it."

I think he's the best defender we can get who would really wants to play here.

I would rather take Nesta or Samuel but they aren't going to Bayern, never.

Man Yoo has some quality defenders like Wes Brown. :f***: :crazyboy: :D

hahah, wes brown... what a terd. Is metzelder still hurt? I saw the lineup for Germany's national team fro Euro 2004 and it looked rather young.

Do you think they are out int he group phase? I have a feeling they will be.

Don't count on Lucio being an official Bayern player yet. He has been very close to signing for some teams such as Juve to the point that he was already announced on some websites as already being a fully-fledged Juve player just for the deal to fall through.

Hopefully he doesn't sign with Bayern since I want him at Inter!

Metzelder is still injured ... it would be a surprise if we get past the group phase. But that doesn't matter. Young players like Lahm and Hinkel should get some experience in Portugal in order to bring the Cup home in 2006.

If Germany gets knocked out during the group phase Völler will be gone. It would be awesome if Hitzfeld becomes the new national coach.

i agree it's good that they play their young players and let them experience the atmosphere at a big tournament getting them ready for 2006.
