This is what i think: Gameplay is better then 2005, i personally now can use the freestyle conrols more in this game, as they feel more responsive.

personally i only bought the game coz fifa 2005 didn't have champions league in the game and me and my mate used to have to create tournament, so i only bought this game for me and my mate to play champs league, me as Chelsea him as Liverpool. I always wondered why fifa 2005 didn't have champs league in tournament mode, now i know why to make some extra money :kader:

I played season mode, and IMO think it sucks, dont like mission based to get more points to unlock things that i already paid for, didn't like the fact some games you joined half way through, i bought the game for me to play full games not finish off or play second halves, fair enough have it where u can create scenario's and play them out, but dont like the single player game based on that.

At the moment im playing semi pro level and although im now finding it easy, it seems impossible to score long range efforts, as the keeper always pulls of amazing saves, which is frustrating coz its always nice to score an amazing goal that gets u out of ur seat once in a while, surely its possible to make a level harder then by just making there goal keepers super human and make urs crap.

So basiaclly i like the way the game plays, but i dont like the season mode, and it has enough to kep me playing it for a god while, as i only got it for me and my mate to have 2 player champs league games anyway.

yea that's what i'm feeling pissed about. Its virtually impossible to score from long range shots, the cpu keeper is god like. after playing like 45 season games, i only managed 2 long range goals, that is slightly in/out of the penalty area.
i also hate how the AI really cheats. it seems that you have no control at all. if the AI wants to score, it WILL score, seems impossible to stop that, and also your shots and goals don't seem to be in your control, if the AI wants you to get a goal, you will get it.

Well I've played like 20 games or so, and I've scored som nice goals from long range. Most of them on a rebound from corner kicks.
I really enjoy the game. You just have to use the freestyle moves in the right moment and try to dribble your way trough the defence and you will score some fine goals. ;)

i think you can score from way out, but not very often... In online mode i got 1 beautie against me, and 2 beauties i scored myself :)...

When i play offline mode i'll try to make a movie of it, but like i sayd.. you don't score them very often so it can take a while before i can post it ;)..

Try this: when you run and a defender is 'hanging' on your shirt try to shoot then, it worked for me :)
