that means nothing, our pitch is closer to the stands and the chants come from everywhere in tha stadium. you will see :)

damn this is sad I wonder what are the true reasons for him to be operated and if he'll miss another season?

When things seemed to be back on tracks, I'm already thinking he might be forced to retire :(

About Mantorras, I can only feel sorry for him. Such a talent guy and plagued with injury after injury... :(

Man, right when the real Mantorras was starting to surface again... Bam... Injured. It's a shame for Benfica, for Pedro himself and for our league.

Manuel Fernandes will stay at Benfica until 2006, at least. The club as a one-year option on him, so, make it 2007. What's the rush?

What's next? "Simão's contract expires in 2010!! And he hasn't signed a new deal yet!!"

You gotta love the press now. They don't know what the heck is going on at Benfica, so, they try all sorts of shots in the dark. The soap-operas are over.

Press, go sell about something else. Like Sporting's bankrupcy, or Del Neri's sacking by Porto.
