I reckon Chelsea, mainly cos I support them, but Desailly, Melchiot, Babyaro, Bridge, Johnson, Gallas, Terry etc - what a back row!

I used to think Liverpool, with Hyypia, Riise, Henchoz, Babbel etc but they were crap last year.

I think there are great defenses all over the world but honestelly the portuguese defenders are probably one of the best in the world, so i would have to say FC Porto defense Paulo Ferreira-Jorge Costa-Ricardo Carvalho-Nuno Valente.

yeah like that CL final in manchester...... a good defense is a bad thing... it can discourage people to watch that team....... its no fun if no team scores against your favourite team..... i think that manchester united has the best defence.....reserved one..... o'shea, silvestre, brown and p.neville....
