Best EPL Manager

I must concede that every Arsenal fan will vote Wenger, every Man U fan Ferguson, every Chelsea fan Mourinho etc etc... but I'm sure there are a lot of mutual supporters who have opinions as to who they think is the best manager in the EPL.

Personally I think it's Wenger, he's proven he can win a lot in England, he's loyal, he develops players very well and is financially very stable when it comes to buying/selling players. Very few of Arsenal's players would be worth less than their value when they were bought. Such is evidence that I feel Wenger is a genius when it comes to managing teams and advancing them into champions.

I've only entered 4 choices as I don't want this to be a big poll, so by voting for one of these managers you aren't saying he's the best in the league, just the best out of the 4 (which I think are the best).

Ferguson. He has seen it all and done it all. He is the only manager out of the four that has built two teams (he hasn't lost it, he is just rebuilding a new United). He has also won the EPL many times, along with he FA Cup and he has also won the European Cup.

Alan Curbishley, single handedly kept charlton alive on edge of existance back in the 90's and now he has established us in the premiership. BTW mourinho is new to the epl lets see if people still rate him in 5-10 years time:)

with out a question its Arsene, he won the EPL last year and had a winning streak of 49 games, this is not in a debate

Wenger is my top pick out of those 3. He knows how to teach young players, respects them and is successful.

Mourinho hasn't done anything in the EPL so far so he can't be the best. I like his style though. He's a good example of a modern coach.

Ferguson was a bit unlucky with his transfers. Many scrubs for too much money. Man United look like going downhill. Arsenal were already way better than them last year and now it looks like Chelsea are ahead of them as well.

Wrong. Until he wins the European Cup, he wont be considered better than Mourinho or Ferguson.

So you're saying Sir Alex doesn't know how to mold young players, doesn't respect them and isn't successfull?

year? YEAR?? what are you on about the seasons only about 2 months old. oh yes it must be so hard to go top of the league when you have unlimited cash to spend. chelsea are a plastic team they'll always be a wee team to me

There is more to winning than spending money. Look at Leeds, spent all that money and are now in Division 1, sorry the Coca-Cola Championship (what a joke that name is).

Anyway, if you look at the situation at the moment, Jose is top of the Premiership and European Champion, then he is the best. But no manager has been as successful as Sir Alex over the length of a career, so it depends on how long a time span you are talking about.

Can't believe I just complemented someone connected to Manchester United, but there is no point in denying what he has achieved.

Leeds spent their cash on shite players. (H)

Anyways, dunno how Moyes got there ahead of Rafa Benitez. Anyone with any ideas?

leeds didnt spend anywhere near as much money as chelsea. leeds gambled they based there transfers on qualifying for the champions league every year, but never and now there suffering from it big time. where as with chelsea, some guy just came over and said hes some cash!

also whats moyes doin there ahead of curbishley

i think Ferguson. he has made united what it is today, the world most valuable sports franchise. Wenger is also very good and in time i think he might accomplish what Sir Alex has done. Mourinho has only been there a little bit so you cant say anything.
