I would definately say Ronaldo is the most clinical finisher in the world. The game that sums it up is the World Cup final. Gets like 2 chances buries them both. Behind him maybe RVN, Larsson may get 4 goals a week but I could score in the SPL its ******* crap and he misses heaps too.

I think Thierry Henry, Ronaldo, and Ruud van Nistelrooy are all top finishers, I can't really think of 1 that is better then the other, currently atleast...

Henry misses more than a few.

Arsenal just make more chances than most teams, thats why he scores so much...most of which he creates too.

I don't think Henry is good finisher....I know he makes alot but miss alot too(including 1 on 1 vsing keeper)...
I think after Ronaldo its Shearer, Larsson and probably Shevchenko

Defintion of best finnisher: player who misses the least chances where you would expect the player to score.

Henry does not fit into that because he misses often. Some of you dont watch enough football or are just fools.

Shearer is the best still IMO...perhaps best of all time.
RVN, Vieri, Kezman, Makaay, and Trezeguet are all efficient too.

Romario was one of the best ever.

They do have a signifigantly lower number of shots however. (note that penalties are not included)
