I'm not to sure what your talking about, on the Instant replay bar that is, but all I do is when I have scored I press Triangle and the hit the recoding button.
and too record your screen use 'Fraps' and to turn the video into an GIF file use 'Jasc Animation Shop'

I dont have a gamepad i use keyboard. I can get rid of the instant replay bar but then i cant play the clip so there is no point recording a still image. Is there someway i can edit it out of the clip?

All I did is with the PS2 controller I pressed the right analog stick left and kept my thumb pointing left, pressed R2 and hit square :ewan:

Sorry but I dont know about PC Keyboard Version :nape:

I use half size, no sound 29,9 fps

and if run speed too speedy i increase frame fraps (all frame) in jasc animation shop
