For me, the best is van Persie's volley against Charlton. Yes, it took a fair amount of luck, but it also took a fair amount of skill to karate kick volley a ball out of the air and put it into the top corner from the edge of the 18-yard box. And it took some balls to even try that, instead of merely trying to settle it.

For me it’s Drogba against Everton. There are some goals which compare but as a Chelsea supporter I have to go with Didier! My house shook when that went in!

ronaldinho had an excellent over the head kick this season, i just cant remember who against all i know is the score was 4-0

that was just so brilliant! definately one of the goals of the season.

Taylor seems to have scored another nice volley 1 or 2 weeks after that goal.

And for me, Scholesy's volley is literally BRILLIANT.

Had it hit his balls, Dawson could've died straight away from the agony, so Martins for me.
