i voted for sol campbell, but the best goal is jilius agnhowa(<<wrong spellin) who plays for nigeria scored by a header against sweden at the world cup,, then he did this summersault celebration...

you must not know Borgetti that well, hes known for his spectacular goals in the Mexican league.

But if u look at it closely he was so close to the goalie that was the only way he could have scored, and it didnt help that Maldini was pushing him in the air.

Right now you can't argue against Klose. What he did at the worl cup was incredible. 5 goals, all headers was it? But Bierhoff in his prime was incredible in the air, probably the best i've seen. Seems like the Germans are the experts at headers...

How does that make sense? Vieri is TALLER than Klose by a good inch or two ( 3-5 cm).

Klose is ebtter than Vieri, Vieri is too big, while he is strong his sheer size makes it that quickly changing his direction and leaping high into the air is an uncommon sight, whereas Klose is pretty small when you compare them, thus he is quicker and more agile.

Plus Klose always intends to head, whereas Vieri shows a prefence for his feet to do the job.

Few will agree, but I think Brian McBride is one of the best headers in the game. He consistently wins high balls and his goal on the diving header against Portugal in the World Cup was superb.

Alan Shearer is the best Header in the game. Nobody can consistently attack the ball in the manner he does in the air when hes on target for goal.

Shearer's ability to hold of defenders is class too, watch him at the end of the games (ie: LFC this year at Home, he held of Hyppia, Henchoz, and i think another) and those fellas are strong as hell.

Shearer is the best. But its all a matter of opinion tho.
