Big Roster Update 4.00 updates all teams in all leagues in FIFA 2004. This patch updates:
* English Premier League
* German 1st Bundesliga
* Italian serie A
* French LFP 1
* Spanish Primera Division
* Portuguese Superliga
* Dutch Eredivisie
* Austrian Bundesliga
* Belgian Jupiler League
* Swiss Axpo League
* Scottish Premier League
* Danish League (first day after the winter break)
* Rest of UEFA teams
* Rosenborg and Valerenga (Norwegian league), based on last February UEFA Cup results
It also updates some 2nd division teams which could be promoted at the end of the season:
* England (West Ham, Norwich, West Bromwich, Wigan Athletic)
* France (AS St. Etienne, FC Istres, SM Caen)
* Germany (Energie Cottbus, FC Nürnberg, RW Oberhausen)
* Italy (Atalanta, US Palermo, Cagliari Calcio, Torino Calcio, Piacenza)
* Spain (Sporting de Gijón, CD Numancia, CD Alavés)
All teams rosters are set according to the latest known matches, including team formation, tactics, starting eleven etc. Player attributes were imported from Championship Manager 04 for many teams. This patch also adds some important teams that were missing in the game:
* Besiktas
* Fenerbahce
* AEK Athens
* Lokomotiv Moscow
* Spartak Moscow
* Dynamo Kiev
* Levski Sofia
* Partizan Belgrade
