Saha is useful if you are short on money, as he's not too espensive. He was first striker i bought when playing my first master league and proved incredibly useful, scoriing consistently. Di Vaio has also got a good eye for goal, and again is not too expensive.
It's a given that the likes of Owen, Rivaldo etc are going to be great, it's finding the guys at half their price that perform well that is tough. How the hell do you afford these top players anyway, unless you are winning every game (in which case you have it on too easy a setting). It takes time to build up a decent squad, and i enjoy trying out different players - you often find some real gems this way.

well..ive only used saha once during a european championship game... france against ukraine (pretty tough opponent)... but anyways... zidane was injured n i had used 2 off my subs already... as well as havin both desailly and pires sent off late in the second half... so i had brought saha on for zidane... he was like a normal player no incredible skills jus played position as AM... the score was tied at 2-2 .... i also had anelka subbd in for wiltord on the right... i never imagined saha as midfielder but had to use him... ukraine was pressing but saha somehow was able to play deeper back as a defensive midfielder(at this point i was playin all out defending with only henry in the front)... he intercepted one of their passes and hit anelka out wide on the right.. anelka took it past midfield...henry was waiting anxiously up front for his pass which anelka hit him once he drifted right ... it was all henry...he took it past 2 ukraine defenders and easily slotted the ball past the keepers left into the old onion bag... anyways what im tryina say is saha is useful only when u need him to be useful in this case or in any other case as a sub... i would not start him in this case if i had other better strikers like henry, wiltord, anelka, trezeguet (i do not use this dude much either who is more like saha, but i will try him in we7i, cuzz im currently playin we6i here in the states)....... anyways... it was a great win for les bleus... which i unlocked the classic forever french team containing soe of the best french players around... im not sure if it had platini or papin...i have to double check... i still need to unlock the other classic teams... peace

I've bought Bermar a few weeks ago... he's not too expensive and has become one of the players who performs best in my team 
. He's tall, heads nicely, has good speed and passing. By positioning him just behind the strikers, I've learned that he's also VERY good at scoring rebounds from outside the goal area (he hits them like Roberto Carlos hits free kicks).
