can sum1 pls suggest me the best tactics..

my team def allowing too many goals and my fwd weren't scoring goal much.

so... pls suggest me and discuss all the best tactics here..

there is no such thing as great tactics..it really depends on your team and the oppositions tactics. If your allowing too many goals then buy MF/FW's with lots of pace and accelaration and then put your team mentality to defence and select the tight marking and counter-attack option. This will help. Also could you please specify the type of your strikers?(eg.pulls wide left).

Try using a 4(D)-1(DM)-4(M)-1(ST)

ideally the DM should be a box-to-box player and the two centre-mids should be playmakers and RM/LM should be wingers. Striker should be a Target Man.His stats of finishing,heading and general strength should be good. In the options make the striker hold up the ball. Do not do this if his physical stats. are weak otherwise he'll end up losing the ball more often. Also check the 'Long Shots' button in the team tactics.

actually, i'm with man u and i used to line up with

4-1-4-1

vds,
neville,ferdinand,brown,heinze
keane
ronaldo,rooney,ronaldinho,giggs
nestlerooy

ronaldo(dribbler), rooney(run channel), ronaldinho(playmaker), giggs(winger)
nestlerooy( penalty box)


my team is now standing 5 at the table, 4 points far away from the top,chelsea.

by the way, what's the meaning of closing down and defence poistion or something that one with deep,normal,etc...
how they affect the team tactics?

if closing down is set on high then your players will not allow much space to the opponents.The drawback is that if your players have low stamina then they will get tired very soon. So best is if you only keep your DM with high closing down.

replace rooney with rvn upfront and fill up the empty space in midfield with another playmaker. Also set Ronaldo to take long shots and to make many dribble attemps.

If you set the defending to deep thenall your defender will play deep inside their own half.Use this method if the opposition strikers have lots of speed.

When you select high then all your defence will atleast come up to the half-line.
