Best time to sell

I had a little question about what would be the best time to sell a player.
I have a couple of guys and they are great, they are the reason i won the CL, but one of them is 29 (AMC) and will hit 30 in a few month. The other one (AM R/C) is just few months younger. And both of them are wanted by top clubs. I know that if I keep them for another season or two I will not get even a half of what I can get now (about 10-12 mil eu for each). On the other hand they are fan's favourites and still can perform great for a copule of seasons.
What should I do?????

depends on how much money you've got, if your at a reasonably rich club i wouldnt sell them till they stopped performing well, but if you need the money sell them now

Keep them and enjoy success.

I think you should sell if:
- squad is overloaded
- player sucks, or is unhappy or whatever that keeps him from performing
- you need the money

Selling just because you can get a good deal never seemed reasonable to me.If you sell them, it's questionable whether you will find a worthy replacement or not.Top players can play at the highest level at 33 even.Plus, if the fans like him...

Yeah, depends all on your financial state... If you've got money enough, then keep them, if you can use an extra couple of millions, then sell 1 of the 2 (dont sell both IMO)

I only sell players when they start to whine about having huge wages or on a special occasion if the offer is to good to turn down.

If I were you I would keep them until they either retire or are in one of the situations stated above.

Exactly what hapenned to one of them)) The guy started asking for an enormous (for my club's size) salary so I sold him. Plus my finances werent so great. Now i can buy some good youngsters instead. The only bad thing is that my loyality droped to 8 :(( I kept the other one.

Thanks for advise guys.

Depends, when I was managing Chelsea, Real Madrid offered me 80million for Frank Lampard and I accepted right away. No payments nothing, 80mil upfront.

It depends, sometimes I sell because I know I can get two players of equal quality with the money from that sale.
