Do you mean national teams or clubs? If you mean national teams, then there is not even any room for argument, its Brazil. Brazil is the only team to have participated in EVERY World Cup to date, and has won the most,4. Also, the best players ever come from Brazil:Pele,Zico,Romario,Taffarel,Bebeto,

Guys! You just don't a point of the question.
The question is what is the best team or club in the world, not what team do you support most or what is you home team.
I live in Bay Area and I'm not screaming and shouting that San Jose Clash RULES! And they're the best in the World. No. Also, I'm a supporter of Lokomotive Moscow and I have all reasons to call them the "best of the best": they did well for 3 past years in the Euro Cups and their players kicked many shiny butts (they got into semifinals of Cup Of The Winners Cup twice and none Turkish club did such thing ever).
The best club is Manchester U. (I wish they weren't). And there is no exactly best National team in the world now. We'll see it in year 2002.

Uh I live in Las Vegas. That changes not the fact that Glasgow Rangers are the best team in the world.
And any posts saying Glasgow Celtic are better than Rangers will promptly be ignored. Just look at the league standings. We didn't lose to Dundee United, the team who let the sheep score against them.

If you mean 'Best Team' as in success or the way they play then I'd go for AC Milan or Barcelona, but best club (meaning team, fans and everthing else) i'd go for either Glasgow Rangers or Boca Juniors. Rangers has the best supporters in the world (no i'm not biased!!) and Boca's are great too.
