Hi Robbie!
Is the crowd possitioning right for Suncorp?

Hey Svence!
Great work!

The away crowd seems in the right place. The thing is A-League games are never really full house and it's difficult for many away fans to fly across the country.

I'm looking forward to a release for Suncorp very soon! (H) Also, you still have the old textures around the megascreens - please change this to the "Suncorp Stadium" textures if you can. :)

I'm also writing to other stadmakers to try and help you with converting other A-League stadiums. For ex, I want to give Superwagon the Cardiff City stadium model from Rugby Challenge 2 to help him with the EPL stadiums...

Also, one other question. Are the lighting files from Rugby Challenge 2 of any help to you when it comes to making floodlights?

Another thing to ask you Svence.

For AAMI Park, the stadium is kind of like San Siro; it's shared by both Melbourne clubs. For every home game against any other team, the away fans are on the same corner where you've orientated the away fans in Suncorp; directly opposite the corner where the big red sign "Welcome to AAMI Park: Home to Football, Rugby League and Rugby Union" is. However, for the Melbourne Derby, the away fans are not just in that corner, but they also take up the whole (right-hand?) stand directly behind the goal which is closest to that "Welcome to AAMI Park" sign. Does this make sense? I remember that there was discussion about how the San Siro crowd is different for Milan v Inter and Inter v Milan. Do you know about this?

I must to take a look on this discusion. If there is something that can be done with RM for the crowd I`ll do, but I don`t think. About Suncorp adboards. Is that right:

Behind the goal are static and infront of the player entrance thay are digital.

The progress with Upton park. I think that this week I`ll be ready with rhino :) .

Svence,

I really hope you are not considering changing any of the stadium details because of what Poliphemus said???

The stadium is looking perfect and I do not believe the club has any interest in the stadiums that are released here

Besides, west ham have now sold upton park and we are moving to the Olympic stadium in 2016, look here:
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/...-sell-upton-park-property-100833404--sow.html

There is NO legal issue!!!!! Think of all the English stadiums that have been released here in the past with no issue. Legolas made a beautiful upton park for fifa 10 and he had no problems from anyone.

Please be sensible mate
<carrick>

You dont know anything! I use these brands also in my stadium but there is an legal issue, so dont swear it all the time. If you want to know how it is when an company is cathcing you then tell me and be a men and give me your adress and real name and i give it to adidas and you will see how fast you get the bill for your knowing.....so calm down!
Svence will give your favourite stadium to you but please dont talk about things that you dont understand....

that i have written to you in$idos thread!

And dont tell bfl all the time there is no legal issue, the one and only goal that you will reach that he dont stop again your favourite stadium.
Of course is there an legal issue and no he has not the permission to use adidas or alpari logos in his stadium. Yes it is in the game but ea has pay for it and so only ea hat the permission to use these brands logo.
When you dont know anything about legal dont swear that it isnt so.
Bye bye...

@Svence: great work mate, keep it on! Use each logo that you want but be carefull the companys are watching us. i swear to you and it is not only in germany because each brand protect their labels etc in each country!
Thanks for all my friend! If you need something or want to talk then contact me....

bye, Poli

<carrick>

a few years ago there was an afc regional patch that was being made and the afc contacted the creator and told him to halt the creation or be sued.

these things can happen.

CARRICK

Do NOT give me Upton Park stadium.
Hey Svence,

Fantastic work mate - the latest screenshot is incredible, really pleased to hear that you are close to finishing with Rhino.

The quality of the stadium is superb :D

Will you be able to create the West stand ad board textures? I had another look for better pictures but could not really find any

Thanks for your hard work mate

I would suggest that generic stadiums in the mould/design of actual stadiums be made instead.
On the one hand stadiums look like the actual but there will be no legal issues.

You can't have everything in life. Got to give and take. be grateful for what you have.

OK, from now on, the stadiums which will be posted here for download is from unknown creator. I`m stopping with stadiummaking and somehow I`ll finding some links to stadiums which I`ll be not sure if thay are this what I`ll told.
So I`m not stadiummaker and I`m don`t doing stadiums, just searching and finding links with stadiums!
So now what? Will someone going to judge me, couse I post links with something that I`m not sure what is it?
I`ll write with big shrift too:
I`M NOT STADIUMMAKER AND I`M NOT MAKING ANY KIND OF STADIUMS. I`M FINDING THEM ON THE NET AND SHARE THEM WITH MY FRIENDS
Now when I find some links I`ll write on the first post:
Hi folks, I find this link and it is written that this is stadium for one English club from PL. I downloaded it, to take a look for viruses and it is clean, there was few screens there and some kind of files with .rx3, .inx etc extensions. I don`t have the game and I can`t try it, so i decide to share this link with you my friends!

And if someone tells something about IPs I have ready answer for that too ;) .

Stoped with this things please, couse a lot of people will going to quit with editing of the games!

And finally, the simple things is that we don`t earn money for that. No one can tell us nothing if we are doing that for free for our friends. This will be violation of human rights. Is there someone who want to broke my human rights?

Lol.... Do what you want svence....you make thinks public and you are not the owner of them. Thats the problem and yes if They want They can get you...Because you shared links with protected content... And persons in the Web in an Forum are not all your friends. Its an Open platform ...

Have fun with editing but think not that it will be easy to get free of it with such polemic sentences....

you wouldn't care if he was executed by a firing squad as long as you got your upton park.
It is not couse of the Upton park. I understand the thinks like that:
"Modders, you must to be very carefully and it is recommended to stop doing anything, couse you breaking copy rights and you must to pay a lot of money for that or even you`ll go to the jail for that."
Am I wrong?
What is the point of this part of the forum than? "FIFA 14 Editing Forum". Isn`t that kind of a breaking the rules?

CARRICK

Do NOT give me Upton Park stadium.
At the end of the day the very same could be said of all the people who are making faces, boots, balls, ad boards, kits etc etc

If we all worried about the legal or licensing issues there would be no point in having an editing forum

Polliphemus, if you care so much about it go and spread the message to all the other stadium makers - go and post your messages in other threads.

It appears that you are only posting in here in a twisted attempt to prevent Upton Park from being released (because for whatever reason you are acting out a vendetta)

If Sido really was contacted because of licensing issues, why has he recently posted screenshots of Upton Park in his stadium thread? Surely he is breaching the 'legal issues' that you keep boring everyone with. Surely he should not be posting anything at all? It makes absolutely no sense, it's just a poor excuse used to hide the fact he never releases stadiums.

The fact that you brag about having a version of Upton Park that nobody else can use just makes me despise you even more. Let Svence continue with his work, I really have no interest in reading anymore of your rubbish.

Go away and let the thread get back on topic.

i don't need to be careful, what are they going to do to me ?

why would you go to jail ?

i am not telling you to stop, all i said was you could be sued, i don't see why adidas, nike, etc would care because the more people who use your files see their logos, it is free advertisement.

i say make the stadium with all the logos etc, if it were ever to get to that level law states they must first send you a cease and desist letter before they can sue and they can only sue if you do not cease and desist.

Never mind, back to the topic!
Lights for Suncorp are ready:

I need good pics or video with the player benches, couse there is no such a thing in RC2 files. It left just this think, the collision and props.

Also, maybe I found a solution about dark and white crowd on some places. I need some more tests and I`ll tell you what is the exact problem with that ;) .

Why does copyright breaching only apply to stadiums and not other graphics or even .db editing? If one thing is illegal, then everything is too. Not just because someguy once got a letter in one country. And if anyone has a right to sue it's EA, since it's their original game. But EA has even recognized some amazing patches (the Holly & Benji patch by FIFAmania.it) as outstanding work from the editing community. Also, if a stadium is converted from another game; as opposed to made from scratch; who has the right to sue? The makers of the game where the stadium originally came from? The club who plays their games there? What if it's a multi-purpose stadium where teams from the same town play their games at the one stadium?

For example: Westpac Stadium (I don't want to scare off Svence, but he knows this is all BS anyway):
  • Game made by Sidhe
  • Wellington Phoenix plays its home games there
  • The national team of New Zealand Football play there
  • Wellington Hurricanes are the Super Rugby team which plays there (licensed in Rugby Challenge 2)
  • Wellington Lions are the ITM Cup rugby team which plays domestic games there (licensed in Rugby Challenge 2)
  • Wellington Firebirds are the domestic cricket side which plays all their home games there

Is someone going to say that ALL those teams and/or the original game developers have a right to sue someone releasing something; when the act of releasing a stadium/graphic isn't actively motivated for profit?

OT: Svence for the benches; umm some stadiums don't have them in a-league matches... they're just two rows of plastic chairs!

The reason why is because for other sports; the coaches sit way up in the stands where the commentators are and then use telephones to direct their teams during the play, only meeting the players inside the stadium during intervals between halves.

See 4:33 on the last video; the texture is different!!!

If you want to expand the away fans section for Suncorp, you can give them the section which is directly to their visual left + the corner that they are already sitting in. See here:

Let me know which A-League stadium you're going to do next. I can post away fans/benches too.
