There are some nice things, your cutting is good but you need to work on getting more colour and interest into the background. Also cut down on the amout of layer effects such as bevel and emboss that you use. Everyone uses alot when they start using Photoshop and they also generally think that the gradient tool is the best thing since sliced bread, I know I did!
Also consider using a border (select all, edit, stroke). It only has to be thin but it does help with the finished effect.

Try looking at some tutorial sites, good-tutorials.com is a good site. They will help you learn how to use everything on Photoshop and will free you up to allow you to do your own thing.

Whatever you do though, don't give up, your sigs are showing great promise. :)

i could sit all day and make sigs and stuff but im just gettin the feel of photoshop, i really have just found things out by trial and error, but i love doing it so i wont stop, please check back on my thread now and then and give some more feedback or pointers;)

there good except fot the backgounds, theyre poor imo, all the same grey crap but like champion said the cut of your pics is good, just the backgrounds is whats letting you down atm;)

i have been having touble with the backgrounds but i will try to get it worked out remember i am really just starting out with photoshop.

Try experimenting with a 'real' picture for a background like I have:)
